A leading healthcare organization is seeking a candidate to support Epic software applications, focusing on system build, testing, and ongoing support. The role requires strong technical skills, experience with EPIC, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to enhance operational efficiency.
In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for system build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of assigned applications. The candidate should possess clinical or IT systems knowledge and experience to develop and support safe and high-quality care using the electronic health record. This role involves in-depth investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality, analyzing workflows, data collection, report details, and technical issues related to Epic software. The position includes developing and documenting internal procedures for Epic applications, analyzing clinical and business operations, prioritizing system changes, and serving as a liaison between end users, third parties, and Epic implementation staff. The role also involves testing new releases and analyzing functionality.
