Job summary

Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Sr. Systems Administrator in the Intel Sector's Solutions Analysis Business Area (ASBA).

The role supports Service Desk operations in a large enterprise, requiring strong technical and customer-oriented skills along with experience using JIRA, ServiceNow, or Remedy. The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph and demonstrate effective communication with leadership, plus a solid background in Windows/Linux environments and systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership.
• Strong understanding of technical principles and their application across the program.
• Serves as a subject matter expert within the technical domain.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides systems and software operations and maintenance support in a large network enterprise, multi-enclave environment.
• Distinguishes between user problems and enterprise-wide issues quickly.
• Coordinate with customers to collect data, analyze, and implement solutions for incident tickets and requirements.
• Provide mentoring and training on operations and maintenance.
• Develop and update O&M documentation for personnel.
• Produce follow-up reports for root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Remotely log into end-user endpoints to perform configuration and remedial actions.
