Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to work with minimal supervision on infrastructure for DOE Portsmouth site. You will administer both physical and virtual environments, focusing on Active Directory, permissions, and Group Policy, while supporting server platforms and remediation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 2–6 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system administration, operation, and maintenance in physical and virtual environments.
• Manage IT server infrastructure and hosted systems (AD, permissions, storage, Group Policy).
• Support first-tier staff in troubleshooting complex issues related to software, databases, and access.
• Analyze and resolve server-related hardware/software problems for end users.
• Administer Omnissa/VMware platforms across the site and coordinate with vendors.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and support Cyber Security compliance.
