Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Systems Administrator III to oversee the administration of complex systems and ensure robustness within the Aerospace and Defense sector. You will lead system enhancements, manage security protocols, and provide expert troubleshooting for mission-critical operations.

The role supports collaboration across IT teams, with deployment to OCONUS locations and a requirement for Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
• Advanced understanding of network and system security protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with others.
• Demonstrate a customer care philosophy that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.
• Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.
• An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required.
