Job summary

Eastern Kentucky University seeks a Systems Administrator to manage the university's enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments, focusing on reliability, security, lifecycle management, and expertise in server OS, virtualization, IAM, storage, backup, monitoring, and automation.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and at least three years of systems administration experience, plus relevant certifications (Azure, M365, Entra/AD, VMware, Windows/Linux).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and three years of progressively responsible systems administration experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience: Three years of experience supporting cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, identity and access management, systems administration, automation, or related technologies; demonstrated experience with several listed technologies.
