Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Senior System Test Engineer to plan, develop, and execute end-to-end testing for a hybrid cloud digital system supporting mission applications. You will architect scalable test suites using Playwright and execute security controls validation across Kubernetes environments; onsite support at Hill AFB in Ogden, UT.

The role requires US citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance and collaboration with development teams to ensure release readiness and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, system testing, or SDET roles.
• Hands-on experience building/ scaling test automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (prefer Playwright).
• Strong programming in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Knowledge of Linux, web app architectures, hybrid cloud, and API testing.
• Proven Agile experience, defect management, and troubleshooting.
• US Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute end-to-end testing across a hybrid cloud digital system.
• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright/Cypress/Selenium.
• Validate systems meet functional, performance, reliability, security, and operational readiness requirements.
• Integrate automated test pipelines into CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Manage containerized test environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Identify, log, and root-cause complex defects with development teams.
• Produce test evidence, metrics, and readiness assessments for releases.
• Adhere to DoD compliance and QA best practices.
