Job summary

Dark Wolf seeks a Cloud Systems Operation Engineer to maintain, secure, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines in Ogden, Utah. You will handle Tier 3 support, automate routine tasks, and ensure compliance with security standards across AWS and CI/CD environments.

This full-time role requires TS clearance and US citizenship, with a focus on reliability and security for diverse customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in cloud operations, cloud engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience operating and managing infrastructure within AWS.
• Experience building, maintaining, and utilizing CI/CD pipelines, specifically with GitLab.
• Proven capability in Tier 3 technical support, system troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience applying security remediations, performing IAVA/KEV patching, and managing POA&M.
• Strong understanding of STIG compliance and experience working with hardened machine images.
• Experience scripting and automating routine system maintenance and administrative tasks.
• US Citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Providing Tier 3 maintenance and advanced technical support for cloud systems and infrastructure.
• Executing monthly and emergency system patching, addressing IAVA and KEVs.
• Driving vulnerability remediation across cloud environments and input for POA&M.
• Ensuring continuous STIG compliance and overseeing hardened image management.
• Automating routine maintenance tasks and onboarding processes to improve efficiency.
• Building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for patching and config management using GitLab.
• Collaborating with development and security teams to minimize service disruption.
