Job summary

Dark Wolf in Colorado Springs/Herndon seeks a Mid-Level DevSecOps SME / ISSE to protect fast-paced missions. You will work with customer teams and contractors to assess designs, implement security controls, and maintain accreditation across cloud and container environments.

The role requires 5+ years in IT security or DevSecOps, a coding background, AWS or GCP experience, Kubernetes, and a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT security, information assurance, or DevSecOps engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Go) and REST APIs.
• Experience with customer-facing security improvements.
• Experience in cloud environments security and documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Cyber Security; TS/SCI eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of systems design, containers, and cloud architectures and security accreditation.
• Perform vulnerability assessments with SonarQube, Snyk, NeuVector, OWASP ZAP.
• Review software installation requests and assess security risks in Kubernetes.
• Coordinate security actions and report status using GitOps and ArgoCD.
• Maintain DISA STIGs via Ansible and hardened Dockerfiles for continuous ATO.
• Monitor logging and metrics stacks with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo.
• Enforce zero-trust and traffic management in containerized environments with Istio.
