Job summary

Leidos Digital Sector in Huntsville, AL seeks a System Support Specialist to deliver end-user computing device services for NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center. The role focuses on provisioning, troubleshooting, and guiding customers, serving as the primary contact for NASA users. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of IT support, with Windows and macOS experience.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
8+ years of Information Technology (IT) support experience.
Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting current versions of the Windows operating system.
Experience working with current versions of macOS.

Responsibilities

Deliver new services to customers, including mobile, print, and computer services.
Troubleshoot and resolve assigned customer issues.
Interact daily with NASA customers to provide consultation and guidance on NEST services.
Perform initial problem identification and troubleshooting of system issues, serving as a primary point of contact for NASA customers.
Provide system support and guidance to assist customers with adjusting or obtaining services.
Assist end users with hardware and software requests.
