Qualifications

• 10+ years of system safety experience including DoD programs.
• MIL-STD-882 analyses or safety program implementation experience.
• Experience obtaining lithium battery certifications.
• Ability to analyze data and produce clear technical reports.
• Ability to organize and facilitate technical meetings.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage junior staff on safety tasks and provide mentorship.
• Develop and review system safety artifacts to ensure compliance with requirements, policy, and guidance.
• Analyze data, prepare, and present results to inform mitigations and risk reductions.
• Lead safety analyses such as PHA, SSHA, SHA, and EOD-related assessments where applicable.
