Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in system safety and DoW system safety programs
• Experience with MIL-STD-882 safety analyses or system safety program implementation
• Experience obtaining lithium battery certifications
• Ability to analyze, research, assess, and organize technical data into reports
• Ability to organize, schedule, and facilitate technical meetings
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science field

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess system safety hazards and inform mitigations to reduce warfighter risk
• Lead and mentor junior staff in safety tasks and analytics
• Analyze data and develop written deliverables and presentations
• Review client system safety artifacts for compliance with requirements and guidance
