Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior System Safety Engineer to lead safety analyses and oversight for DoD system programs. You will apply engineering principles to identify hazards, assess risks, and develop mitigations while delivering safety artifacts such as SSPPs, PHAs, and SHA.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate technical reviews, and collaborate with engineers across weapon, unmanned, missile, and naval systems. A Secret clearance is required or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of system safety experience, including DoW program work.
• Experience performing MIL-STD-882 analyses or implementing SSPPs.
• Experience obtaining lithium battery certifications.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and present technical data in clear reports.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and hold a Secret clearance.
