Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a highly qualified System Product Engineer to join the Advanced Product Development team in Milpitas, CA. You will lead system-level product development, drive test strategies, and collaborate with memory, firmware, hardware, and software teams to deliver innovative storage solutions.

This role demands 10+ years in memory/system-level product/test/validation engineering, strong C/C++, Python, and experience with high-speed interfaces and ATE systems such as Advantest and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years in memory, storage, or system-level product/test engineering.
Strong understanding of semiconductor IC design and manufacturing processes.
Hands-on testing with oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and jammers.
Proficiency in C, C++, Python.
Experience with high-speed interfaces: DDR3–DDR5, PCIe Gen5/6.
Experience with ATE systems such as Advantest and Teradyne.
Background in firmware development and data analytics.

Responsibilities

Lead system-level product development with tight integration across components.
Design, develop, and implement test strategies from definition to ramp.
Translate requirements into optimized test flows meeting OEM quality standards.
Collaborate with memory, logic, firmware, hardware, and software teams.
Drive failure analysis during the NPI phase and implement corrective actions.
Analyze test data to improve design, yield and quality.
Define and implement test stack architecture and platform requirements.
Partner with TE to develop test programs using Advantest and Teradyne.
Build and support test software infrastructure for automated testing.
Deliver executive-level updates on status, risks, and mitigations.
