Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a System Design & Firmware Engineer to drive enterprise SSD feature development and validation. You will work on NAND-driven performance and power, with cross-functional teams across PETE, device, and design to deliver robust memory solutions.

The role requires hands-on testing, code in Python and C++, and strong problem solving in a fast-paced environment. BS or higher in EE/CS with 5+ years relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering; Masters/PhDs preferred.
• 5+ years for BS; 2+ years for Masters/PhDs of related experience in 3D NAND device/design, SSD testing, NAND/SSD Failure Analysis.

Responsibilities

• System Design & Firmware feature development for enterprise SSD products.
• System/component level testing & validation on test platforms including drive-level testing; cross-functional collaboration.
• Supporting component and drive-level FA effort.
• Review of product specifications and generation of reports with conclusions.
