Job summary

PJM Interconnection in Audubon, PA is seeking a Lead System Operator Trainer to support the System Operator Training Department. You will create curriculum, develop online training, and deliver programs for PJM system operators based on changing system requirements, markets, or procedural changes.

The role reports to the Manager of System Operator Training and may be conducted at PJM Control Centers or remotely, with travel about 25% to Milford, PA and other sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Systems Operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to design, develop and deliver training programs.
• Ability to coordinate training schedules and materials.

Responsibilities

• Develops training curricula and content aligned with NERC standards to reflect new markets and tools.
• Delivers classroom instruction and assesses learning outcomes.
• Maintains updated training materials and scripts.
• Collaborates with Dispatch leadership to ensure program relevance.
• Supports Operator Training Simulator development and training scenarios.
• Plans travel to control centers and coordinates scheduling of training sessions.
