Job summary
Activ Surgical is seeking a Senior or Staff System Engineer to own system-level requirements, architecture, and integration across hardware and software within its surgical platform. You will translate clinical and product needs into verifiable system requirements and drive end-to-end verification to ensure a safe, reliable product.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in systems engineering, experience with multi-disciplinary subsystems (hardware, software, optics, AI), and familiarity with IEC
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant system engineering experience.
- Proven experience producing system architecture diagrams and ICDs.
- Experience integrating hardware, software, optics, AI into a product.
- Familiarity with medical device development standards (IEC 62304, IEC 60601, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
- Experience planning and executing system-level verification and validation activities.

- Define and maintain interfaces between subsystems; drive end-to-end integration and testing.
