Job summary

Forvia in Louisville, KY is seeking a Program Development Leader to drive complete engineering of products and processes from concept through production ramp. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, develop DFMEA/PFMEA, manage ECM-driven changes, and align with PMS, cost, and quality targets.

The role demands strong leadership, technical excellence, and clear communication across multicultural teams, with responsibility for delivering robust tools and processes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or significant professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in design and development within an industrial environment, preferably automotive interiors.
• English required; customer language strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scope of work and time frame management from concept to production ramp.
• Develop DFMEA/PFMEA, manage engineering changes via ECM, and track issues.
• Define tooling specs, approve tool design releases, and ensure process feasibility.
• Lead the engineering team functionally and report milestones, risks, and opportunities.
• Support risk management and ensure compliance with PMS, QS basics, and OEM requirements.
