Job summary

Kalman & Company is seeking an experienced System Architect to support a government client onsite in Edgewood, MD. The role focuses on enterprise data architecture, C2 integration, and scalable BI/CBRN platform solutions.

You will lead data modeling, APIs, and ETL/ELT pipelines aligned with DODAF/TOGAF guidance while coordinating with JCPE CBRND engineers and JRO/CCMD stakeholders. Willingness to travel up to 20% CONUS is required.

Qualifications

Twelve years of software development/IT experience.
Eight years of software architecture experience.
Minimum three years developing and maintaining DODAF v2.0 data architecture products or data models.
Minimum one year working with UNICOM Systems Architect or MagicDraw Architect.
Three years working with DODAF or TOGAF.
Two years with JCSFL/JCA/NR KPP/UJTL/NIEM.

Responsibilities

Shall be the point of contact for program architecture, data workflows, and C2 system integration.
Collaborate with stakeholders to build a holistic data sharing and integration strategy.
Serve as the CPE CBRND program-level architect for the Biosurveillance Information Platform (BIP).
Analyze capability gaps and overlaps to support the enterprise mission.
Develop, maintain, and validate DODAF architectures for JPM CBRN IEW.
