Job summary

Kalman & Company is seeking an experienced System Architect to support a government client onsite in Edgewood, MD. The role emphasizes enterprise data architecture, data sharing strategies, and integration with C2 systems.

You will develop DODAF-based architectures, model data flows, and design APIs and ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure scalable solutions. Requires 12+ years in software and 8+ years in software architecture with security clearances.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required and an active Secret clearance.
• Minimum 12 years in Software Development/IT and 8 years in Software Architecture.
• At least 3 years developing DODAF v2.0 data architecture products or data models.
• At least 1 year using UNICOM Systems Architect or MagicDraw Architect.
• 3+ years experience with DODAF or TOGAF, and 2+ years with JCSFL/JCA/NR KPP/UJTL/NIEM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the program architecture lead for data workflows and integration with C2 systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define enterprise data sharing and integration strategies.
• Develop and validate DODAF architectures for JPM CBRN IEW and related programs.
• Create data models, APIs, and ETL/ELT pipelines aligned with system architecture.
• Support acquisition documentation and provide input to SEPs, TEMPs, RFIs, TORs, and RFPs.
