Job summary

Kalman & Company, Inc. is hiring an experienced System Architect to support a government client onsite in Edgewood, MD.

The role focuses on program architecture, data workflows, and integration with Command and Control systems, delivering an Enterprise solution aligned with DODAF guidance. You will shape data integration strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and help ensure data sharing across platforms while maintaining enterprise-level scalability and compliance with security

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Software Development/Information Technology experience.
• 8+ years of Software Architecture experience.
• 3+ years of DODAF v2.0 data architecture products and/or data models.
• 1 year of experience with UNICOM Systems Architect or MagicDraw Architect.
• 3 years with DODAF or TOGAF.
• 2 years with JCSFL, JCA, NR KPP, UJTL, NIEM.

Responsibilities

• Lead program architecture for data workflows and integration with C2 systems.
• Develop and validate DODAF architectures for BIP and JPM CBRN IEW.
• Create data models, APIs, and ETL/ELT pipelines aligned with overall architecture.
• Coordinate with JCPE CBRND engineers and program sponsors.
• Produce documentation (SEPs, TEMPs, RFIs, TORs, RFPs) and support acquisition efforts.
