Job summary

Dcode is seeking a Senior Systems & Solutions Architect to lead the design and deployment of secure, scalable architectures for restricted mission environments. You will work with government clients, operators, engineers, and security teams to translate complex requirements into implementable solutions.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance and eligibility for SCI/SAP access; it is based in Washington, DC with responsibilities spanning across DoD and federal programs.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering complex system architectures in government or regulated environments.
• Ability to translate mission needs into current/future state architectures.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional architecture workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Architect Mission-Critical Systems: assess existing systems, decompose needs, evaluate alternatives and roadmap modernization.
• Turn Architecture Into Something Teams Can Build: define requirements, interfaces, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Design for the Real Environment: consider legacy systems, cloud/edge, security, and acquisition constraints.
• Lead Through Ambiguity: serve as trusted technical advisor, run architecture working groups, drive decisions.
