Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Linux Systems Administrator to support IT infrastructure for the Intelligence Sector. You will manage UNIX and Windows systems, troubleshoot, and ensure security and performance of client/server/storage networks. The role emphasizes compliance, access management, and system optimization.

Qualifications

Fifteen (15) or more years of experience as a System Administrator (SA) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree bringing the required experience to 20 years.
Experience with LINUX, Windows and Virtualization.
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

Maintain STE/STN compliance by ensuring systems meet security standards.
Manage accounts and access control, implementing security procedures.
Configure and manage UNIX/Linux and Windows systems, load software, troubleshoot.
Provide day-to-day IT support for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
Assist users and escalate tickets with detailed analysis.
Optimize system operations and capacity planning.
Support dispatch systems and hardware, configure server hardware and security.
