Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a large, highly distributed environment in the MD/VA area. The role focuses on daily system administration, O&M support, and maintaining a complex network environment.

You will work with an agile team using SAFe methodology, ensuring rapid response to incidents while balancing on-call duties and travel requirements. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must have BS in IT or related field with 4–8 years of related experience.
• Experience with complex equipment/systems including Windows, Linux, and virtualization (VMware).
• Data Center design experience and IT system optimization/troubleshooting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure systems, applications, and processes and track/resolution of issues.
• Provide on-site and remote support for hardware and software incidents affecting local users.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and other teams to troubleshoot network connectivity and system problems.
• Create and maintain documentation to support incident resolution and knowledge sharing.
• Assist with IT enhancements and project work as needed.
