Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a System Administrator 2 for the Security and Electronic Systems unit. This on-site role focuses on physical security systems, CCTV, PSIM, and IT infrastructure maintenance at a government-related site.

Applicants should have a security-focused IT background, experience with RMF/NIST controls, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. A Top Secret clearance is required or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires system administrator experience triaging and resolving problems.
• Knowledge of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Understanding of Active Directory hierarchy and implementation.
• Familiarity with large-scale networking, VLANS and routing.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and on-call as needed.
• DoD security standards and RMF lifecycle familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and test Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM, and ECIS.
• Provide Tier 1 help desk and Tier 2 escalation support.
• Analyze system performance and document incidents and changes.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and technical staff for resolution.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system backups.
