Job summary

M.C. Dean, a national leader in Building Intelligence®, is seeking a System Administrator 2 for its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role focuses on monitoring and maintaining Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM, and integrated electronic systems for federal, local and commercial customers.

The candidate will work on-site, supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 activities, and must be flexible to meet customer needs. A Top Secret clearance and DoD-oriented experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s in IT, Risk Management or Cybersecurity preferred.
• 6+ years of experience with an Associate’s degree in IT, Risk Management or Cybersecurity preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and test Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM and Integrated Electronic Systems.
• Provide Tier 1 help desk support and Tier 2 escalation.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex security system issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and documentation of system performance.
