Department of Economic Security (DES) seeks a Systems Administrator Senior (Junior Security Architect) to support IT Security management, assess new and existing services, and guide security architecture within the Division of Technology Services in Arizona.

The role includes documenting solutions, recommending security improvements, and ensuring compliance with agency policies while offering potential remote work within Arizona based on performance and needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of systems administration or information security experience.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining security baselines and standards.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev.5 and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the enablement and maturation of Cloud Security Services.
• Guide posture management and implement controls to mitigate threats.
• Maintain agency baseline hardening and conduct system assessments.
• Document findings and communicate with stakeholders.
