Job summary

Konami Gaming, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer III to troubleshoot and resolve escalated SYNKROS issues, interfaces, and databases. You will communicate with customers and vendors and coordinate bug fixes with R&D to ensure timely resolutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science (or related field) and 24 months of relevant experience, with travel to client sites as needed. Strong Oracle DB, Java, and PL/SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related; advanced degree accepted in same field.
• 24 months of experience in software engineering or closely related.
• Experience in application design, implementation, maintenance, and support.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer issues related to SYNKROS application, interfaces, and database.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to address SYNKROS-related issues.
• Report discrepancies or recommendations to senior management and submit bug fixes to R&D; track resolution through to customer service.
• Maintain ongoing communication with R&D to stay informed on new functionality from each development cycle.
• Develop and utilize SQL scripts for SYNKROS issue investigation, resolution, and reporting.
• Travel to customer locations within the Southwest Region; travel limited to 1 trip every 2-3 years.
