Job summary

Konami Gaming, located in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Systems Engineer I to join our team. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and diagnosing software and network issues while developing detailed network specifications and designs.

The position requires Linux experience, Cisco hardware familiarity, and the ability to obtain gaming licensure. A base in server room planning, security, and customer collaboration is essential for success.

Qualifications

Relative associate or bachelor’s degree, certification from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
1+ years of extensive operating system and network infrastructure maintenance.
Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently with all levels of the business.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure.
Experience with Linux, Cisco switches and other networking hardware.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, repair, and diagnose software and network issues.
Prepare detailed network specifications, including diagrams and configurations.
Analyze project objectives and develop network related documentation.
Develop conceptual, logical or physical network designs.
Design and consult with customers on server room, network configuration, and security.
Troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls and related systems.
