Job summary

Apium Swarming Technologies Inc is seeking a Senior Autonomous Behavior Engineer to design, implement, and validate new swarm behaviors for ASR's platform. You will translate customer use cases into deployable code through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and field validation with live drones.

The role requires strong C++ skills, robotics expertise, and experience working from operator requirements to production-ready software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in robotics, autonomy, or related field.
• Experience designing autonomous behaviors for aerial, ground, or maritime platforms.
• Strong C++ proficiency and familiarity with simulation environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and field validate autonomous behaviors for ASR swarm platform.
• Collaborate with mission engineers, customers, and field teams to extract operational requirements.
• Define API surfaces for behaviors to enable partner UIs and C2 tools.
