Job summary

Apium Swarm Robotics, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to maintain and extend the C++ core swarm codebase for ground stations and drones, and to develop new swarming behaviors and communication methods.

The role supports a fully remote work model, requires strong C++ and front-end web skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) plus Python backend, and offers base salary plus generous equity and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Development experience with C++.
• Front end web development using HTML CSS, Java Script.
• Backend development using Python.
• Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented development methodologies.
• Mathematical/physics background relevant to robotics.
• Proficient in C/C++ including STL.
• Experience with Linux and POSIX libraries.
• Experience with Agile software processes.
• Familiarity with aerospace software processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend ASR C++ code base for ground station and drone operations.
• Develop new swarming algorithms.
• Modify and extend swarm communications protocol.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on software architecture and processes.
