Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Senior Sustainment Systems Engineer to support MILSATCOM and NC3 O&S activities at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. The role emphasizes SEIT processes, stakeholder coordination, and delivery of executable solutions within a small-team IPT.

The position requires a DoD SECRET clearance, a related engineering degree, and 5 years of SE&I experience. On-site work at PSFB with up to 20% travel supports critical national security missions.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance required or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or equivalent.
• 5 years of SE&I experience related to system acquisitions and/or O&S.
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes and applications (e.g., Jira/Confluence).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Responsibilities

• Engage government and corporate stakeholders to deliver results.
• Provide senior-level critical thinking to drive technical challenges to resolution.
• Coordinate with DoW agencies and industry partners for mission-focused results.
• Learn and apply established government SEIT processes for MILSATCOM and NC3 O&S activities.
• Develop, analyze and maintain SE documentation and requirements.
• Apply CMMI and DoW acquisition best practices to daily operations.
