Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Sustainment Software Developer to lead MILSATCOM applications development at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. You will drive architecture, design and deployment of critical defense software used to sustain NC3 and MILSATCOM systems, while coordinating with military and civilian customers.

This role requires a TS/SCI-eligible DoW-security background. The position is 100% onsite at PSFB with potential travel and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent technical discipline.
• 15+ years IT experience with team lead/supervisory skills.
• Experience with DoW/NC3 space systems and MILSATCOM is a plus.
• Ability to manage relationships with DoW military and civilian clients.
• Strong programming/scripting, SQL DB design and maintenance, web development.
• Experience in Jira/Confluence for workflow design.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software development team to architect and implement MILSATCOM/NC3 applications.
• Coordinate with DoW/USAF stakeholders and DoW DoE specifications.
• Provide end-user trainings and demonstrations for military and civilian staff.
• Mentor team on web-based architecture and DoW directions.
• Prepare briefings for large groups and manage blockers to resolution.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
