Job summary

Sealing Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Senior Sustainment Engineer in Columbia, MD, onsite for a strategic DoD program. You will own the technical sustainment across the lifecycle, driving RAM improvements and obsolescence mitigation for fielded hardware and integrated systems.

You will lead RCA, ECM activities, and coordinate with supply chain, CM, and production to ensure mission readiness. You will provide senior engineering support, mentor junior engineers, and develop sustainment metrics

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive systems or sustainment engineering experience for DoD or federal programs.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Experience leading sustainment engineering for fielded hardware or hardware/software systems.
• Experience with RAM analysis and lifecycle sustainment.
• Experience with obsolescence management and DMSMS mitigation.
• Strong leadership, customer-facing communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment engineering strategy for fielded program kits across their lifecycle.
• Drive RAM analysis and improvements across deployed systems.
• Own obsolescence management and DMSMS mitigation planning.
• Lead RCA and corrective action for fielded systems.
• Define and maintain sustainment processes, standards, and docs.
• Partner with supply chain, CM, and production on changes, spares, and repairs.
• Provide senior engineering support for deployed systems and escalations.
• Develop sustainment metrics, reliability reports, and lifecycle cost analysis.
• Lead technology insertion and modernization to keep systems mission-ready and secure.
• Serve as senior technical interface to customer on sustainment matters.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to sustainment standards.
