Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Corporation company, is hiring an Operations Lead to drive the technical delivery of a strategic DoD program in Columbia, MD. You will lead and personally perform engineering work across the program's lifecycle, including hands-on hardware tasks and a senior technical interface to customers.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional activities, and guide defense cyber operations research while managing a distributed team and contributing to program

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor''s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 12+ years hands-on systems engineering and architecture across Windows/Linux/ESXi.
• 5+ years in defensive cyber ops within DoD or federal cyber orgs.
• Experience with DoD DoDIN-like architectures and defense-in-depth.
• Working knowledge of Splunk/Elastic/Zeek and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Python).
• Experience leading technical teams and large federal programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform engineering tasks across the program lifecycle with hands-on hardware work.
• Direct a distributed technical team across multiple locations; plan staffing and resources.
• Engage with customers; deliver demonstrations and lead technical reviews.
• Coordinate with system administration, security, and supply chain functions.
• Identify high-level requirements through customer engagement and DoD enterprise knowledge.
• Support program strategy, risk management, and operational planning with the Program Technical Director.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
• Support business development and capture efforts with senior technical input.
