Elbit America is seeking a Senior Sustaining Engineer to provide mid‑level engineering support across operations, troubleshoot complex assemblies, and lead teams to resolve issues. The role requires hands‑on testing, writing corrective actions, and coordinating with production and customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required. 5‑10 years functional experience may substitute
• Associate’s degree is required
• Specific Degree Field Required: Technical Degree (engineering, electronics, etc.)
• 5‑10 years of functional experience is required
• 1‑3 years of industry experience is required
• Training Prerequisites (Within One Year of Taking Position): ESD; Safety Training as dictated by Safety Department

Responsabilités

• Write, review and modify test procedures for troubleshooting of electronic assemblies
• Support test technicians by troubleshooting difficult problems and instructing techniques
• Develop test equipment and assemblies to aid technicians in isolating problems
• Conduct research to resolve production difficulties
• Write ECPs on product to correct errors and resolve production difficulties
• Provide New Product Setup, Programming and Support, ECO and Process Improvement Implementation
• Be prepared for on‑call or overtime to meet schedule requirements
• Lead, participate and contribute to a team environment
• Stay abreast of state of the art, technical and equipment issues through training
• Adhere to internal ethics, procedures and external regulations and laws
• Support Sustaining Engineering and Operations goals
• Other related duties as assigned
