Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking a senior Sustainment Engineer to lead lifecycle sustainment for a key DoD program. You will own reliability, RAM, obsolescence management, and field support for deployed hardware and software.

In this role you will define processes, mentor engineers, coordinate with supply chain, configuration management, and production, and present metrics to program leadership while ensuring mission readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment engineering strategy for fielded program kits across their full operational lifecycle.

• Drive RAM analysis and improvements across deployed systems.
• 2
• Own obsolescence management and DMSMS mitigation planning.
• 2
• Lead engineering root cause analysis and corrective action for fielded systems.
• 2
• Define and maintain sustainment engineering processes, standards, and documentation.
• 2
• Partner with supply chain, configuration management, and production teams to manage engineering changes, spares strategy, and repair workflows.
• 2
• Provide senior engineering support for deployed systems, including troubleshooting escalations and field issue resolution.
• 2
• Develop and maintain sustainment metrics, reliability reporting, and lifecycle cost analysis for program leadership.

• Lead technology insertion and modernization planning to keep fielded systems mission-ready and secure.
• 2
• Serve as the senior technical interface to the customer on sustainment matters; represent the program in sustainment reviews and technical engagements.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to sustainment engineering standards across the program.
