Job summary

CRL Technologies on-site in Patuxent River, MD seeks a Senior Engineering Support SME to advance an R&D program focused on data processing and storage for airborne platforms. You will work with program management and technical leadership to mature roadmaps, analyze proposals, and guide technical decisions through briefings and reviews.

The role requires a Final DoD Top Secret clearance, Bachelor’s in engineering, and strong systems engineering and communications skills within a secure,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with mission compute/processing and data storage for airborne platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with MOSA/SOSA/VITA standards and related avionics protocols is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering Support for an advanced R&D program as SME for data processing and storage.
• Coordinate with program management and leadership to align technical execution with roadmaps and timelines.
• Prepare, maintain, and present briefing materials for reviews and leadership updates.
• Serve as SME for program technical execution, risk identification, and communications with stakeholders.
• Develop acquisition and technical documentation including statements of work, specs, and test plans.
• Assist in integrating new capabilities and developing detailed schedules and roadmaps.
• Analyze vendor proposals and support risk, issue, and opportunity tracking.
• Support mission effectiveness modeling, data analysis, and validation planning.
• Observe on-equipment maintenance and participate in flight briefs/debriefs.
