Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking a Hardware Technician Lead to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair physical IT equipment supporting a DoD program. You will work on servers, switches, routers, and firewalls, diagnose component failures, and manage racks, cabling, and the program’s physical infrastructure.

In this senior role, you will own RAM analysis, obsolescence planning, and lifecycle sustainment to keep deployed systems mission-ready throughout their life cycle.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 6+ years of progressive hardware repair or sustainment engineering.
• Experience leading sustainment engineering for fielded hardware or hardware/software integrated systems.
• RAM analysis and lifecycle sustainment experience.
• Strong documentation and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and network equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing hardware failures at the component level.
• Managing racks, cabling, patch panels, and physical network infrastructure.
• Performing RAM analysis and driving reliability improvements across deployed systems.
• Leading security, safety, change-management, and asset inventory procedures.
• Coordinating with vendors for repairs and spare parts.
• Assisting with server-room/data-center operations as needed.
