Job summary

Everlane is seeking a Senior Manager of Sustainability to lead the execution and evolution of its sustainability strategy. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement programs across materials, product development, and vendor management, ensuring measurable impact and transparent reporting.

In this remote role, you will drive initiatives focused on climate, water, waste, and circularity while aligning operations with Everlane’s commitments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility or a related field.
• Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product-focused environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Feels comfortable speaking in large groups and with the press.
• A natural love for market research and benchmarking and keeping informed on technology/trends in sustainability.
• Passionate about global sustainability and making a long-term climate impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of Everlane’s sustainability roadmap across climate, water, waste, and circularity.
• Drive progress against existing commitments (Renew, Organic Cotton, carbon footprint reduction) with clear tracking.
• Translate high-level sustainability goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with Raw Materials and Product Development to integrate lower-impact materials and processes.
• Collaborate with factories, mills, and third-party vendors to align with environmental and social standards.
• Support and evolve vendor compliance programs, including data collection and performance tracking.
• Own development of quarterly and annual sustainability reporting with accuracy and transparency.
• Support implementation and management of systems to track environmental and social compliance data.
• Partner with Marketing and Creative to support sustainability storytelling, including updates to the sustainability website.
• Collaborate with Workplace and Retail to embed sustainability practices across spaces.
• Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on progress and key initiatives.
• Represent Everlane in industry conferences and working groups as needed.
• Stay informed on sustainability trends, innovations, and regulatory changes.
