Job summary

Everlane is seeking a Senior Manager of Sustainability to drive the company’s strategy across climate, water, waste, and circularity. You’ll partner with materials, product, sourcing, and marketing teams to embed sustainable practices and report on progress with transparency.

You will manage programs that advance Renew, Organic Cotton, and carbon reduction while engaging external partners and industry groups for continual improvement and industry leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility or a related field.
• Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product-focused environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Comfortable speaking in large groups and with the press.
• Love for market research and benchmarking; stay informed on trends in sustainability.
• Passionate about global sustainability and long-term climate impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of Everlane’s sustainability roadmap across climate, water, waste, and circularity.
• Drive progress against existing commitments (Renew, Organic Cotton, carbon footprint).
• Translate goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with Raw Materials and Product Development to use lower-impact materials.
• Align with factories and vendors to meet environmental and social standards.
• Support and evolve vendor compliance programs with data collection and tracking.
• Own quarterly and annual sustainability reporting for transparency.
• Manage systems to track environmental and social compliance data.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support sustainability storytelling.
• Embed sustainability in physical spaces with Workplace and Retail teams.
• Provide progress updates to leadership; represent Everlane at industry events.
• Stay informed on trends, innovations, and regulatory changes.
