Job summary

Everlane is seeking a Senior Manager of Sustainability to drive execution of our strategy across climate, water, waste, and circularity. You will partner with Raw Materials, Product Development, Sourcing, Marketing, and external partners to embed sustainability into product creation and brand storytelling.

This role balances hands-on program ownership with cross-functional influence, ensuring measurable outcomes and transparent reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sustainability or corporate responsibility.
• Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Comfort speaking to large groups and with the press.
• Love of market research and benchmarking; stays informed on tech and trends in sustainability.
• Passionate about global sustainability and long-term climate impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of Everlane’s sustainability roadmap across climate, water, waste, and circularity.
• Drive progress against existing commitments (Renew, Organic Cotton, carbon footprint reduction) with clear tracking.
• Translate goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Raw Materials and Product Development to integrate lower-impact materials and processes.
• Work with factories, mills, and vendors to ensure alignment with environmental and social standards.
• Support and evolve vendor compliance programs, including data collection and performance tracking.
• Oversee quarterly and annual sustainability reporting with accuracy and transparency.
• Manage systems to track environmental and social compliance data.
• Partner with Marketing/Creative to support sustainability storytelling, including website updates.
• Collaborate with Workplace and Retail teams to embed sustainability practices across spaces.
• Provide updates to internal stakeholders and leadership on progress and initiatives.
• Represent Everlane in industry conversations and working groups.
