Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Senior Licensed Surveyor to lead boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS survey projects across regulatory environments. You will supervise field crews, review deliverables, and ensure accuracy from proposal to final maps and reports.

The role requires a strong background in GNSS, CAD-based tools, and QA/QC processes, with opportunities for growth, training, and regional field involvement across a national firm.

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor license in PA preferred or ability to reciprocity.
• 8+ years of progressive survey experience including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of boundary law, deed interpretation, and ALTA/NSPS standards.
• Experience managing boundary, topographic, construction, and geospatial mapping projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee survey projects from proposal through final deliverables.
• Serve as Surveyor of Record and seal survey documents per state regs.
• Direct field crews, UAV operations, and office technicians.
• Establish and maintain survey control networks using GNSS and total stations.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of field data, calculations, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Review drawings and provide survey support for design and construction.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure OSHA compliance.
