Job summary
Soltesz is seeking a Senior Surveyor for our Rockville, Maryland office. The role focuses on leading survey operations for diverse residential, commercial, and public-sector projects in the Washington metro area.
You will collaborate with engineers, planners, survey crews, and agencies to deliver precise surveys and professional deliverables. The ideal candidate has Maryland licensure, 10+ years of surveying experience, and strong leadership and communications skills to guide project teams
Qualifications
- Licensed Maryland Land Surveyor is required.
- 10+ years of progressive surveying and land development experience.
- Experience with residential and commercial development projects.
- Knowledge of public agency codes, procedures, and surveying standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, as-built, and construction layout surveys.
- Prepare plats, easements, legal descriptions, and metes and bounds descriptions.
- Support land development and right-of-way projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate daily activities of survey crews and ensure field and office needs are met.
- Work closely with engineers, project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
