Job summary

Soltesz is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Lanham team to work on exciting land development projects across the Washington, D.C. region. You will design and develop site/civil plans, coordinate with clients, agencies, and project teams, and help manage budgets and schedules.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring junior staff, and delivering meaningful projects with growth opportunities within a collaborative, family-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of civil engineering and land development experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Maryland PE preferred but not required; Prince George's County experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop site/civil engineering plans.
• Prepare roadway, drainage, stormwater management, water and sewer designs.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and project teams.
• Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
• Work on a wide variety of challenging land development projects.
