Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Staff Surveyor to supervise a team of technicians and field crews on large-scale land surveying projects, coordinating with the Project Manager to meet schedules.

The role includes mentoring staff on state survey requirements and QA/QC, signing and sealing plats, and serving as SAM's client contact. A Professional Land Surveyor license is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to efficiently execute professional land survey tasks.
• Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale survey projects.
• Strong technical skill set, including AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Professional Land Surveyor License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with surveyors and teams to execute project scope and schedule.
• Supervise technicians and field crews to complete large-scale land surveying projects.
• Serve as client contact for SAM; sign and seal plats and drawings.
• Mentor technicians on state survey requirements and QA/QC.
• Perform other tasks to support SAM's strategic goals.
