Halff Associates, Inc. in Richardson, TX is seeking a Senior Survey Technician to own complex survey production, apply sound technical judgment, and support quality deliverables for diverse projects.

You will work with field crews and engineers to ensure accurate data, documentation, and efficient workflows. The role requires 5+ years of survey experience, strong knowledge of surveying principles, and proficiency in OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Formación

• 5+ years of relevant survey experience with progressively responsible production.
• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, terminology, computations, and deliverables.
• Experience preparing survey maps, plats, exhibits, and legal descriptions.
• Experience performing survey calculations, data reduction, and COGO.
• Experience supporting boundary and right-of-way survey projects.
• TxDOT experience preparing parcel plats/exhibits/ROW maps/descriptions.
• Proficiency with survey/CAD software including OpenRoads/MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to interpret deeds, plats, easements, ROW documents, and field data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and evaluate survey research, including deeds, plats and easements.
• Process, reduce, manage, and review field survey data and observations.
• Perform COGO and other survey calculations to support boundary and ROW projects.
• Prepare and review survey drawings, maps, and exhibits.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits under RPLS direction.
• Assist RPLS with boundary analysis and data evaluation.
• Prepare survey reports and supporting documentation.
• Produce TxDOT survey deliverables (parcels, ROW maps, descriptions).
• Review data and deliverables for completeness and accuracy before final review.
• Coordinate with field crews and project team for accurate delivery.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians and share best practices.
