Job summary

The role combines office data processing with field support and mentoring of junior technicians within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Desire educational background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of drafting experience (Easements and Deed Sketching).
• 5+ years of experience using Civil 3D.
• Strong experience in data processing, including managing field data, performing quality checks, and preparing deliverables.
• Hands on field experience with surveying equipment and workflows, with the ability to support and coordinate with field crews.
• Surveyor in Training (SIT) certification preferred or actively working toward licensure.
• Solid experience with boundary surveying, including research, analysis, and preparation of boundary deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data, ensuring data integrity.
• Coordinate with the project team on the development and review of field packages, field procedures, and project lifecycle.
• Utilize advanced software/tools for data processing and analysis.
• Work with PLS to learn how to analyze final boundary decisions.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
• Assist Technicians I & II in task assignments, work scheduling, and project coordination.
• Communicate with clients and project managers, ensuring requirements are met and progress is reported.
