Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to join our team. This role will assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, and computing survey points.

The position involves processing field data in Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D, performing QA/QC checks, and coordinating with field crews and other office staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, and topographic surveys.
• Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center for production activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, and computing survey points.
• Processing of raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
• Perform QA/QC checks.
• Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff.
• Ensures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are followed.
• Lead by example – display solid judgment, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
