Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a Survey Project Manager in New Jersey to oversee survey projects from proposal through completion, guiding field and office teams to deliver accurate results and strong client partnerships.

You will drive project quality, manage proposals and invoicing, and pursue new business across Land Survey and Measurement service lines, including 3D scanning, Lidar, GPS, and conventional surveys.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of field survey operations and the engineering/construction industry.
• Strong technical background in conventional survey and remote sensing technologies.
• Experience with property lines / ROW boundaries.
• NYC public agency experience is a plus.
• Professional Land Surveyor License is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation.
• Experience with Trimble and/or Leica equipment and software.
• Experience with 3D scanning is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in all areas of the job description.
• Ability to generate revenue from existing clients and new business.
• Ability to read/write English in job communications.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients (internal and external).
• Prepare project proposals and manage invoicing.
• Oversee field and office teams including surveyors, CAD technicians, and field crews.
• Develop new business by combining existing clients with Colliers land survey and measurement services.
