Job summary

RETTEW in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Maryland-licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead survey projects and provide licensed technical oversight for work across the Mid-Atlantic.

The role offers hybrid work from an approved RETTEW office, with opportunities to mentor staff, manage scopes, budgets and client relationships within multi-disciplinary land development, transportation and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Professional Land Surveyor license required.
• Extensive experience delivering survey projects with scope, schedule and budget responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Maryland surveying laws, regulations and standards.
• Hybrid work availability from a Pennsylvania RETTEW office.

Responsibilities

• Lead boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, construction, and other professional surveying assignments.
• Provide licensed professional oversight for Maryland surveying work.
• Review and seal survey plans, plats and other deliverables per Maryland requirements.
• Serve as primary client contact, managing expectations, needs and deliverables.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate field crews, CAD professionals, Project Managers and Engineers.
